Isabelle is over the hump!..Past Six Months, Closer to 12!

Ahhhhh the sweet sound of Silence! Isabelle is taking a nap and I find myself with some time to relax. If you call blogging relaxing. I could ramble on about Little Izz for a very long time. So I will try to keep this short. She just turned a whopping 7 months old yesturday. She had both bottom front teeth break through last week and when I look at her gums I'm thinking we may be getting more teeth very soon! She is not yet crawling, but she loves to walk around the house and even kick a toy around as she goes. She is still known for her stiff body when not wanting to sit down and her crunches when laying on her back on the floor. When she is laying at a 30 degree angle, for example on a pillow, if I hold her legs down she will do a sit up. Very cute and too bad I don't lay down and do it with her! But like I said she doesn't crawl yet but is very good at moving around the room sliding and rolling, it's pretty amazing really!.......Like I said I could go on and on, she is the best and I can't believe she is mine still!!!!!

Carston is still working well in his Sign Business. And is very excited to go back to Hawaii in May to see the possiblities of moving his business there! Dream Big, Right!
I went on a walk today with Melanie and it's crazy how good 52 degrees can feel. Spring Fever is starting to really kick in. I'll post some pictures! There might be one of Ben's Birthday, Ugle Sweater Party. Carston and I were the proud winners of the two ugliest sweaters, compliments of his mom!!!!! And I'll of course throw one in of Isabelle. Speaking of, I had a very suprizing feeling come over me last night. I have a friend that has recently become pregnant and I couldn't get over the feeling of it making me kind of wish I was pregnant too. Good thing it take two to make that happen. Carst wasn't feeling the same vib. Not yet anyway........

We can't believe our Hawaiian vacation is already over!

Oh how time flies! We had a great vacation with Carston's family to Hawaii (Maui). We stayed in a little beach house right on a beach in Kihei and it was fun to hear the waves crashung us to sleep each night!

We had some good beach time. We saw turtles snorkling which was the best, I just wanted to follow them around.

We took the famous Roud to Hana and had a great time, it was pooring down rain. Isabelle was asleep in the back and woke up a little sick becuase she ended up threwing up about half way. We put her in the front seat on my lap the rest of the way and as you can imagine she thought is was great. But unfortunitly after falling asleep in my arms on the way home she woke up and threw up again. So no more windy roads for us for awhile! Little cutie pie!

Mandy, Marion, Taggart and I enjoyed a fun Helicopter ride. We saw tons of water falls on the island of Moliki. And we saw a whale hitting her tail to the water over and over and over again. The pilot had us spirally downward, kind of like we were in a whirlpool. It was so exciting and a little too much for Marion. Poor thing had to actully use a little barf bag while Tag slept nuzzled into her side!!! Gootd times!

We took turn Sucba diving and saw some fun things. We saw two white tip Sharks, and a morey ill swimming, which was really cool. We saw a huge baracuda, lots of different fish. A really big puffer fish (too bad he didn't puff)! And I'm sure some more things I'm forgetting. The boys went night diving, got home at midnight and then left the house around six am to go fishing all day. But they didn't have much luck, Cam had a Mahi Mahi on for a few seconds and that was about as much excitement as they had.

We also went on a whale excursion and didn't see too much action. The one time the two whales came up pretty dang close to the boat to show us their backs, I was nursing Isabelle and saw pretty much the back sides of everyone jumping in front of me. But on our last day on the way back from Lahina we stopped by the shore line. Carston spotted a whale off the shore and I commented on how great it would be to see him breach that close. Two seconds later we were served three breaches right in a row and a fourth I think we couldn't see as he went around the corner. By far it was awesome to see the whales! We were told there is 7 to 10 thousand there at a time!!! Pretty amazing!

It was a great trip and Isabelle was a champ!

Since this is already a novel, till next time I'm signing out!

Our offical membership to BOA (Bloggers of America) has begun!

Well I just want to take a moment to seriously pat myself on the back right now...Just ask Mandy McCullough and you will know that I have been meaning to do this for a long time now! And even still I have no idea what I am doing!

I am Katrina McCullough and Carston and I have now been married for 3.5 years. Our first and only daughter Isabelle was born on July 26th, 2007 and even still I look at her and can't believe she is mine. She has been an angel from the start. She is now six months old. I despite my obsessive worrying (which I think I'm getting better at...sometimes) I have really enjoyed each stage of Isabelle's life. I feel I'm getting more and more use to having her and her to having us!!!! She made her mommy proud and said "mom...mama!" the last night we were in Hawaii and has not stopped ever since. She is a good roller and can sit for a long period of time, but still has not mastered the art of balancing! I really could go on and on about her, but just know that from the day we saw her we can not believe the love we have for our little one! She has truly cemented our relationship even deeper!

Carston has his own sign business. American Electric Signs. He does a good job of it and for the most part enjoys it. I don't want to do details, but if you know Carst. He still enjoys all the same things. (Fishing, Dirt Biking...) I have discovered he is amazingly insightful and yes honey, you know how to make me laugh and smile! He also knows exactly what to say to me at the most critical of times to melt my heart! And for some reason he amazes me every time he does it, if that makes any sense.

As for me I still like doing all the same old things. Which includes just about everything. But even more recently I have realized I love my family and the people in my life. I am glad to be getting older and to look back on the people I have met and learned from. Cheezzy as it my sound I am truly blessed to be surrounded by people that truly enrich my life!!! I love my book club each month and can't beleive we have been doing it for two years now!!
